Realization of the importance and value of land came at a young age for Coy Purkey, as he grew up hunting and fishing the marshes of south Louisiana and the piney woods of central Louisiana.  His interest and desire to conserve and manage land prompted him to get a Forestry degree from Louisiana State University.  Coy worked in the timber industry as a forester in both land management and procurement for 12 years before he began his real estate career.  His experience and desire to manage land has escalated into a passion to put the right piece of land with the right client.  In his free time, Coy loves to hunt and fish, but also loves to spend time with his family, wife Kelly, and kids Ashley and Matthew.
