The Lower Pasture tract is located in the Northwest portion of Claiborne Parish just 3.75 miles from Weldon, LA. Also this tract is just a short drive north of Highway 2.
This tract consists predominately of a well stocked mature hardwood bottom. The hardwood bottom comprises 25 acres +/- of this stand with 12 acres +/- in a well stocked pine plantation. The pines in this stand are approximately 20 years old and are ready for a thinning. The remaining 3 acres of this tract is a small wetland area in the northwestern corner of the tract. The Lower Pasture tract would make for an excellent hunting tract as the hardwood bottoms would provide for excellent habitat for deer and small game. The access to this tract is by a woods roads that enters the tract from the east and exits the tract at the northwest corner.
